KPTZ provides news coverage at high noon, six days a week. KPTZ Local News airs Tuesdays thru Thursdays at noon and repeats at 5pm. Currently, reporter Charlie Bermant is on leave, replaced by temporary special reporters. Lily Haight reports on Wednesdays. Archived Local News reports are available here soon after initial broadcast. On first and third Fridays, Community Tides airs; second Fridays is Our Working Waterfront; and fourth Fridays is Through Science to Health. The weekly Compass news magazine debuts at noon Saturdays and repeats on Mondays at noon and 5pm.
