KPTZ’s Taylor Clark was joined by Laura Parsons, Civil Engineer with the City of Port Townsend along with Danny Milholland from the Production Alliance. Laura is the Project Manager for the Discovery Road project and Danny has been planning a big ribbon cutting event to celebrate the project. The event starts at 2pm this Saturday, June 15 and the ribbon will be cut just after 2:30. Ride your bike up and join in!

We talked, of course, about the upcoming Race to Alaska which kicks off this week, and also about a lot of other interesting things you may not be aware that Northwest Maritime does to help connect people to the water.

Taylor Clark and John Mauro did not have a guest this week. They talked about various topics, including the wind-up of the Discovery Road Project and a celebration planned for June 15. They particularly looked at the process to find a replacement for City Council Member Aislinn Palmer, who is stepping down.
