We heard a great story about how council and staff worked together to initiate the the Transportation Benefit District and how that has helped the city start to gain traction (pun intended) with fixing our streets.

Brewocracy Now featured a chance to meet Samantha Stromberg, Port Townsend High School Class of 2023. As her senior project, Samantha worked with city staff, advisors, and electeds to get lighting installed at the Skate Park on Monroe Street. Joining us on the show we welcomed Debbie Jahnke, chair of the Parks, Recreation, Trees and Trails advisory board, as well as Parks and Facilities Manager Michael Todd. Celebrate this grass roots accomplishment with “Skate Under the Lights” on Saturday, April 19 at 7:30pm.
