Taylor Clark and city manager John Mauro hosted Port Townsend Mayor David Faber and they talked about what is involved in being the mayor and why it was important to David to take on this role in our city.

Taylor and John talked about the upcoming cold weather, snow plowing plans, the winter warming center and their new extended hours). We talked about last week’s City Council meeting, and a recommended short video about our sewer system that you can watch on youtube. John also previewed the upcoming City Council meeting, which will include the swearing in of three new police officers.

Taylor Clark talked with Port Townsend City Manager John Mauro about the Port Townsend Transportation Benefit District, and the sales tax funding measure that passed this week with 80% of the vote. John expressed great appreciation to the community for stepping up to fix our roads.

We focused on the almost complete effort on 24th between San Juan and Discovery road. We talked about funding sources and upcoming plans for 2023 and 2024.
