We talked about needed maintenance for the sewer system. There was a report at City Council last Monday that outlined what is required and funding for that work. We also learned a bit about the city’s mulching project out at the county transfer station.

Taylor Clark and John Mauro talked about the meeting last Monday with city department heads and council which is a kickoff for the 2024 budgeting process. John fielded questions about the leaky pipe at North Beach (Spoiler: It’s not a sewer outfall, it drains the lagoon) and the deer problem (Note: Please don’t feed the deer!) John also gave us a heads up about some thinking that is going on around a possible Transportation Budget District (TBD) which is a method of funding needed street repairs.
