(Airdate: December 8, 2025) Salish Coast Elementary Students on People with Figurative Heart, This week’s Attention Please! presents the insightful words of twenty-five fourth grade students from Salish Coast Elementary School, the students of Ms. Christine Kiely. They share their writing about people with figurative heart in our area, including a firefighter, a conservationist, a doctor, and a dancer.  Hosted by Phil Andrus.

Jon Ketzer – WOMEX

(Airdate: December 1, 2025) KPTZ’s Taylor Clark sat down with Jon Kertzer, host of Roots and Branches (Sunday 3-5pm) to talk about his recent visit to WOMEX (Worldwide Music Expo) in Finland. He has been going since 1995 and since 2010 has been recording artists in the studio while he is there.

Holiday Arts and Crafts meet Ebenzer Scrooge

Friends of Fort Worden

Walking Constellations

(Airdate: November 10, 2025) on this week’s Attention Please! documentarian Nhatt Nichols traveled to Fox Ranch, the Nature Conservancy’s prairie preserve, to learn about the shortgrass prairie’s past, present, and future with three local Yuma County residents. This project is supported by Prairie Sea Projects, a non-profit community-based arts organization based in Joes, CO. There is also an accompanying comic book, which you can find here.

Winnie The Pooh

(Airdate: November 3, 2025) Mentor Inspired – Student Created. “Winnie” is a completely student led production – mentored by experienced artists and professionals, but directed, acted and produced by 14 3rd-12th graders.
