We talked abut the upcoming events taking place in both downtown and in Uptown. We also talked with Deputy Mayor Amy Howard about the training she has been doing with the Association of Washington Cities (along with Council Members Rowe and MickHager). We also got an update on the new Equity, Access, and Rights (EAR) Advisory Board.

Charlie Bermant sat down with local mountain dulcimer musician Robert Force and discussed his new books American Minstrel: Prelude and American Minstrel Aria, which are described like this:  “a wonderful, authentic, on-the-dirt-travels of a poet’s search for the meaning of life in the eccentric guise of a mountain dulcimer revolutionary who came of age in the tumultuous American 1960s.” They discuss the book and Robert plays dulcimer.
