Master Drummer Bolokada Condé Visits Port Townsend & KPTZ

Master djembe drum teacher and performer Bolokada Condé is visiting Port Townsend this week. He will be leading workshops in local schools as well as providing drumming classes. On Tuesday’s Rhythm Connection, Bolokada Condé joined Robert Ambrose to perform and to enlighten us about his music and history. That interview/performance can be heard below.

Join us as Missy Nielsen visits with Natalia Duran, JCIRA Outreach Coordinator. Not only does Natalia help to build bridges across the communities they are settling into, but she also serves as an advocate providing vital assistance to immigrant families. Learn about how her passion was informed by volunteerism.
