(November 2, 2023) Fear of Faxing – 1990s Technology Gets Ray in Trouble.

Taylor Clark and John Mauro were joined by Tyler Johnson who is part of the city’s Engineering team to talk about some projects that are going on right now. We focused on the almost complete effort on 24th between San Juan and Discovery road. We talked about funding sources and upcoming plans for 2023 and 2024. (Airdate: October 31, 2023) Master djembe drum teacher and performer Bolokada Condé is visiting Port Townsend this week. He will be leading workshops in local schools as well as providing drumming classes. On Tuesday’s Rhythm Connection, Bolokada Condé joined Robert Ambrose to perform and to enlighten us about his music and history. That interview/performance can be heard below.



(Airdate: October 31, 2023) The real possibility of an actual film studio here in Port Townsend is becoming more of a reality as the weeks pass. In September, we interviewed the team responsible for this project. This is a reprise of that interview. In early December we’ll report on the most recent developments, And today we’ve also added an interview with young local filmmaker/writer, Dylan Quarles, soon to be a beneficiary of the project’s outreach.
