Midsummer Night’s Dream

(First airdate: March 16, 2024) Taylor Clark had a chance to talk with Marc Weinblatt, who is directing the Ocean K/12 production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. We were joined by Oberon (Luca – see photo above) , Titania (Orlanda) and Bottom (Argus) who performed some choice scenes for us.

KPTZ will be offering tours of our Fort Worden Station from 8 am to 6 pm on Saturday. March 16. We will have light refreshments available and are happy to take your donation in person by cash, check or card. We are eager to show off our space, answer questions and listen to some exceptional programming from some of KPTZ’s best DJs. Our station is in building 305 on the Fort Worden Campus. Parking is available at the front of the building and by the Madrona Mind Body Institute.  If you can’t join us in person this Saturday, you can donate by clicking the Donate now button at the top of this page, where you will be taken to a secure donation portal. Brewocracy Now ~ 3/14/24

Taylor Clark and co-host John Mauro talked with Port Townsend Police Chief Thomas Olson about what’s going on with the Port Townsend police department, including some interesting statistics from Chief Olson’s presentation to City Council. It turns out the crime is down! We also talked about staffing, community policing, traffic enforcement, and accident hot spots.
