Bayside Housing

Director of Development of Bayside Housing Karen Clemens and Communications Director and executive director Gary Keister of Bayside Housing join Missy Nielsen of Everybody Can to discuss their mission, to provide transitional housing to our community members in need of housing. Through a unique partnership with The Alcohol Plant, Bayside Housing assists those who may need housing and resources. Listen in and learn about the $5 million grant request that became an $8.7 million award from the State Housing Trust Fund.

We talked about different services the PUD supplies. not just power, but also water and broadband/internet service. We also had a moment to talk about KPTZ’s move to Fort Worden on May 1. KPTZ is a PUD customer for both Internet and our dedicated fiber connection to our transmitter. And of course power.
