(Airdate: June 3, 2024) This week Jim Burke spoke with Lori Fleming, head of the Behavioral Health Consortium which is a network of 14 local stakeholders who work together to help those with substance use disorders. She is hosting Tedra Cobb who is leading “Ending Stigma: Starts With a Conversation” happening June 10-14, 2024 in Port Townsend, Brinnon, and Quilcene, in the hope of engaging local folks in dialog about recovery from SUDs (substance use disorders.) An additional guest on the show is Lisham Ashrafioun. Both Lisham and Tedra are with the University of Rochester’s Recovery Center of Excellence.
