This week, co-hosts Jim Burke and Christine Rogers interview virtuoso guitarist and vocalist Joel Martin, a one-man band who, aided by effects and loops, plays very full versions of Grateful Dead songs. Joel played a 2-1/2 hour non-stop set at the Keg & I on Saturday 7/20/24. Assisting the interview was friend of Joel and former KPTZ news reporter Casey Dolan. See their group photo below. On Thursday, July 11 was the League of Women Voters forum for 3 Candidates for State Senator, in the upcoming August 6th Primary. The candidates are Mike Chapman, Marcia Kelbon, and James Russell (James Russell did not attend). Note: there is a 2-minute gap in the transmission near the beginning of the forum.

On Thursday, July 18 there was a League of Women Voters Forum for 3 candidates for State Representative Position 2, in the August 6th, 2024 Primary. The candidates are Hickory Grant, Terry Roberts, and Steve Tharinger. (Hickory Grant was not in attendance.)
