KPTZ Fortifier APA

Port Townsend Brewing Co. and KPTZ 91.9FM have teamed up to create the KPTZ Fortifier American Pale Ale. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Build a New Home for KTPZ campaign.

Boasting a healthy amount of citra hops, dry-hopped for amplified floral notes in nose and flavor, the KPTZ Fortifier APA is sure to be a palate pleaser.

This special release beer is available on draft and will be sold also in 22 oz. bottles at the Port Townsend Brewing Co. taproom and at Fort Worden’s Taps at the Guardhouse, as well as in at other participating area bars and restaurants.

Pint with a Purpose

KPTZ 91.9FM serves the entire northeast Olympic Peninsula. Since May 2011, we have operated as the only full-service, noncommercial community station in Jefferson County, offering a wide variety of locally-produced news, information and entertainment programs.

By 2020, KPTZ seeks to establish our new, permanent home in Fort Worden’s Makers Square for producing and broadcasting eclectic, authentic community radio. As leases for our current facilities expire, the need for the next step in our evolution is now.

Our $986,000 campaign to Build a New Home for KPTZ will support construction of a new, state-of-the-art station and secure a permanent site for our transmitter and tower, including a dedicated emergency broadcasting facility.

In reaching our goal, KPTZ will fortify our emergency service, grow in capacity for adding new programming, strengthen existing synergies, and establish new partnerships in and beyond Jefferson County.
