KPTZ is excited to join Rainshadow Recording in welcoming Dan Navarro to the Palindrome in Port Townsend on June 19 at 7:30pm. Navarro has had an eclectic 40+ year career as a songwriter, recording and touring artist, session singer, and voice actor. His work spans 17 acclaimed albums, thousands of concerts, and numerous credits in film, television, and video games — including singing and voice acting in Oscar-winning films Coco and Happy Feet, TV series American Dad and Prison Break, and video games Fallout 4 and Red Dead Redemption II. He has also recorded hundreds of commercials in both Spanish and English. As a songwriter, Navarro is best known for co-writing the Grammy-nominated classic “We Belong,” made famous by Pat Benatar, along with songs for The Bangles, Dave Edmunds, and others. In early 2019, after more than 20 years performing with Lowen & Navarro, he released his first solo studio album, Shed My Skin, to rave reviews.
