KPTZ 91.9 FM Port Townsend is pleased to announce that as of Wednesday, May 1 we are broadcasting and streaming from our new studios in Building 305 on the Fort Worden Campus. Founding Program Director Larry Stein kicked off this new era as the first live DJ on the air from the new studios, and every DJ after this will be “Live at 305.”
Our amazing volunteer technical staff, together with our DJs and hosts, have been working hard to make this a reality as we step into the unknown with new equipment in a new location. If you listen carefully to KPTZ we think you will hear the excitement live on-the-air. This has been a multi-year project and we expect this to be the beginning of a great new chapter for your favorite community radio station.

Following up on this major milestone, we will be having our “Live at 305” fund drive, running from Monday, May 6 through Saturday, May 11. The new studios will be open to our community from 10am to 5pm each day and all 91.9FM listeners should feel free to stop by and see us in action. Come by and take a tour! Again, the dates and times for tours at Building 305 in Fort Worden are 10am-5pm, Monday, May 6 through Saturday, May 11.  Come on down!
